Brisbane's longest running (and best) live music club night is back for it's 17th edition. To kick off the year that will be, we have pulled together a real doozy for you all with some of our favourite acts from around the country right now in Girl and Girl, Obscura Hail, Underlay, People Mover & Bean Magazine.

Tickets are only $15+BF and are on sale HERE.

GIRL AND GIRL
One of Brisbane's new hometown favourites, Girl and Girl have been smashing it in the local scene for years and have just recently come back from touring all over the world!

After signing to iconic US label Sub Pop, the Girl and Girl train has been on a steady climb and shows no sign of losing momentum. Earlier this year, the band sold out their own headline show at Black Bear Lodge, sold out headline shows across the borders in Melbourne and Sydney and they have performed all the way across Europe and the UK on festivals and headline events.

We have been saying for years that this is a band to watch and we are so excited to have them headlining our first SILO of 2024.

OBSCURA HAIL
Obscura Hail are another one of our favourite indie rock acts in the country right now and are absolutely one to watch in 2024. GRAIN has been a huge fan of theirs since Doomer came out in 2020.

Their second album is expected to be released in March 2024 and it is well worth a listen and a presave (we love it). If you can't wait until then - SILO is a perfect time for you to see them!

Check out Obscura Hail's latest release here and you'll know why we are hyping them up.

The band have amassed a fiercely loyal following spilling over into extensive support from national radio and multiple sell out shows in their hometown of Melbourne. Helmed by musician Sean Conran, the indie rock trio's second album is mature in content and playful in delivery and took two years to create with foundations of sounds and ideas laid some eight or nine years earlier.

UNDERLAY
You all know that GRAIN reps Newcastle music hard and with acts like dust, RAAVE TAPES, Vacations & teddie, how could we not?

One of our other absolute favs from Newcastle (NSW) is underlay!

With 1 EP and a handful of singles already to their name, underlay just keeps releasing songs that we love. Their latest release Ought shows how much underlay has progressed as an artist and how much they've grown as a songwriter. If you like artists like Beach Fossils, Girls or Real Estate, then make sure you get down to see underlay.

PEOPLE MOVER
Brisbane's sweethearts, People Mover are absolutely one of our most loved local bands. If you've followed GRAIN events, you may remember them from our show with Babaganouj earlier this year.

Expect incessant, slacked stringed guitar-pop, spliced with layers of melodic jangled riffs and great songs.

BEAN MAGAZINE
Bean Magazine have been smashing the local scene for the last 2 years and have been growing and refining their indie rock sound into something unique and tbh really good.

Keep an eye on these kids because they just keep going from strength to strength.
