TNSW has always made music to respond to something, as the best art does. GODSPEED dives deeper into the same topics that characterise TNSW: criticism against conservative society, self-development and honest storytelling.

If anything, last week was an indication of the strength, quality and force of Australia’s current music scene.

Meanjin’s live music scene felt alive and as strong as ever, their hearts beating as one under the beaming lights of The Brightside. Two stages, nine acts, hundreds of punters, one last SILO.

We handed out 2 disposable cameras at our final SILO event to see what would happen. To be honest, we had no idea if they'd make it back to us or not but thankfully, against all odds, they did. Long live SILO.
